Airport operations

Airport operations

Airport is the most sensitive asset of a global ATM system as it is at the crossing of the Air Traffic Flow Management and the Airport Ground activities. The timing and the synchronisation are the critical key points to guarantee safety and efficiency. Consequently, it is necessary to insure a seamless connectivity providing real-time information sharing to support a performing Collaborative Decision-Making process.

As a response to decreasing customer budgets & increasing operational requirements, we have initiated a further advancement, the integration of our solutions into a family of products based on common concepts and common components. The Main Characteristics of our Centres family are Distributed computing, Separation application/infrastructure, Small modules/loos coupling, Strong software engineering.

The main functional services are:

• Operations Management, traffic statistics and environmental management,
• Airspace management, Flight Plan management, and Civil-military co-ordination,
• Air Traffic Control, Aeronautical Information,
• Resource Management, air platform activity report,
• Simulation, basic and advanced training,
• Adverse conditions and diversion, Search And Rescue (SAR) if requested.

The main technical features are:

• Network Enablers, Open architecture and modular design, accurate time distribution, Data Security,
• Surveillance and identification,
• Communication, Secure VCS, Aeronautical Radio Communication (WIMAX, HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM), Data Link (optional),
