CS chosen to run and upgrade the French Navy’s On-board Logistics Management Information System - Total value: €13 million

CS has been chosen by the French Navy’s Fleet Support Department to operate, maintain and support the On-board Logistics Management Information System.

The Fleet Support Department is responsible for technical and logistic support of surface vessels and submarines. It ensures logistic support for naval equipment and ammunition, management of knowledge center and management of ship configurations and associated equipment.

CS is the industrial prime contractor for a four-year contract. It covers maintaining hardware and software components in operational condition, secure hosting of the information system and its upgrades. Services also include assistance and training of 350 users, as well as technical and functional support of this system.

The system is deployed on land, in continental France (Brest, Toulon and Paris) and five overseas sites, as well as at sea, where it presently includes 73 vessels.

“Support and logistics are critical for ensuring high level availability of weapons systems and armed forces. The consistency and performance of information systems and their related services are key factors. This contract testifies to CS’ position in its approach as designer, integrator and operator of mission critical defense and security systems.”, said Eric Blanc-Garin, CEO of CS.
