CS provides maintenance services needed to run Information & Command Centers of the French Police

Since November 2004, in the context where the French Police changes its management of the Police Events and security service to people, CS has been the prime contractor for the design, integration and deployment of Information & Command Centers, incorporating the new system called PEGASE (French acronym for “event supervision, activity management and team safety insurance”).

CS has already deployed 35 Information & Command Centers throughout France (including Bobigny, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille) and has been notified for 30 months by the French Ministry of the Interior to keep these sites operational.

These centers are designed to coordinate all Police Force’s activities. They enable centralizing emergency calls (the French 911), handling each call from the moment it is received to police intervention on site. Each mobile units and its team are geo-located in real time in order to speed up and improve police interventions, as well as to ensure greater security of citizens and police forces while optimizing police resources usage.

Furthermore, CS has developed and put into service the new electronic police blotter (connected to PEGASE system) to handle chronological events, jobs, officials’ activities and statements from the general public. CS has also been awarded a contract to maintain and upgrade this critical application.

"CS is proud to continue its collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and to provide its operational support to maintain these mission critical systems for the security of citizens and police forces.”, declares Eric Blanc-Garin, CEO of CS.
